A massive Grand Welcoming Ceremony was held across Victoria Harbour on July 7 2005 to celebrate the arrival of the magnificent luxurious vessel- Asia Star.   Two fire-fighting vessels and a fleet of welcoming ships lined up to parade across the Victoria Harbor accompanying Asia Star’s grand entrance to the Hong Kong waterfront.  The event marked a very successful and significant chapter for Asia Cruises as it brought a whole new definition of extravagance and relaxation to cruising in Hong Kong.  The extraordinary vessel offers perfect stability with an internal décor similar to an exotic vacation resort.  The Grand Welcoming Parade was of every success and stirred great enthusiasm and excitement from the public.
